.wiff file chromatography import issue Jiny  2024-04-11 15:01

When I import my results for one file it shows the chromatography import all grey then I have no data, just blank screens with chromatogram unavailable. This is happening on only one set of data, I have sample sets that ran directly before and after the file that are importing just fine. I've been combing through the help tickets with no luck so far. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you send us your Skyline document and a few of your raw files?

In Skyline you can use the menu item:
File > Share
to create a .zip file containing your Skyline document and supporting files.

The Share Document dialog also gives you the option to include the raw files in the .zip file, or you could send those to use separately.

Files which are less than 50MB can be attached to this support request. You can always upload larger files here:
https://skyline.ms/files.url

The usual reason that you might get that "Chromatogram information unavailable" is that none of the MS2 spectra matched the precursors in your Skyline document.
Another reason that sometimes gets people is if you set the "Explicit Retention Time" to a number that is outside the time range of the matching spectra (we have improved the error message in this case in Skyline-daily, but it's still pretty confusing in Skyline 23.1).

After we see the files that you send us we will probably be able to tell you what is going on.
